Science Fair Award Thank You From Matt Dufale
Yet another Reason why you the Society supports the Hawaiʻi State Science and Engineering Fair and why you should be on the Science Fair Standing Committee. Matt did a great little project on IPM to control a variety of insect pests. It was a popular theme this past year but Matt addressed it with enthusiasm, passion, and a fair bit of scientific method.

A thank you note from one of our HES Science Fair Award winners and one reason why you should sign up to e a member of the Science Fair Awards Committee. Mia did her work on mosquitoes as her letter indicates and what attracted them. One of the main reasons she cited as an impediment to her research was the unreasonable curfew of 6:00 PM.
